Adbeat’s crawler is constantly visiting web publishers and collecting the ads that it finds. Each time our software finds an ad, that ad’s count is increased by 1 in our database. These counts are an indication of the advertiser’s reach, ad spend, and impressions. Basically the higher the counts, the more that ad/advertiser is spending.
Comparing one advertiser’s counts to another advertiser will give a relative measure of the size of one campaign to the other.
